University

I went to the University of Western Sydney Nepean campus to study a Bachelor of Information Technology with a major in Network Engineering.

I completed for the better part of 1 and a 1/2 years of the course before i ended up getting distracted with work. At the time of deciding that I'll give up Uni, i was working 3 job's and trying to do RUni work, and ended up working 60 hours a week + Uni study. Obviously money won out in the end so i decided to devote my efforts to the Ihug Business Help desk venture which i was charged with at that point.

At university i met Stevenk who has been a great friend not to mention kind of mentor when it comes to Linux, pearl and other programming nitty gritty... Then again I would love to see how he works out some of his logic sometimes as i seem to help him there a lot :). Steve's website can be found here.

I also met SOK (craig), and Lujan (Patrick) at uni who have been good friends and with SOK, a good work mate through the years.

I started to work at ihug at the end of my first year of University and by the end of the next semester i had given up on Uni as work was more interesting and more practical.

Who knows... One day i may go back.
